Peer groups for software people in the Twin Cities
The Story
The Saas Meetup was started in 2021 by the leadership team at Carousel Digital Signage. The team recognized that there were a lot of resources in the Twin Cities for early stage companies to network and get peer support however; there were not the same resources for more established SaaS companies.
Fast forward a few years and we were still confused why tech meetups had not reemerged post covid. We decided to expand The SaaS Meetup to host a more open tech event. In 2025, we created two events: The SaaS Meetup the new open event and The SaaS Meetup for Leaders which was the original cohort of attendees.
The People
Today, JJ Parker and John Lundberg are the coordinating force behind The SaaS Meetup. With experience in growth companies, startups, and side-hustles this dynamic duo is trying to rejuvenate the Twin Cities tech meetup scene.
